Executive Board Meeting 

We welcome you to bring your ideas to our next Executive Board meeting.  We meet the 3^rd Thursday of every month, at noon.  Bring your lunch and join us!  We meet in the lobby of the 2-story Skyworks’ bldg at 649 Lawrence Dr., Newbury Park.  The building is at the corner of Lawrence Drive and Hillcrest Drive.  It’s best to enter the parking lot from Hillcrest, turning at the Arbor sign.  Please RSVP to President@swe-sbv.org         

 

 

The Society of Women Engineers (SWE), founded in 1950, is a not-for-profit educational and service organization. SWE is the driving force that establishes engineering as a highly desirable career aspiration for women. SWE empowers women to succeed and advance in those aspirations and be recognized for their life-changing contributions and achievements as engineers and leaders.

The San Buenaventura Section was charted in 2002. The section is comprised of engineers from Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties. Regular monthly meetings give members an opportunity to network and continue their professional development. The section also participates in a number of outreach programs for girls in K-12 grade.
